| had a look at the slide show steve, some very nice unusual birds there.......are these all 2010 ybs? also are they all a certain breed? how do you keep track of all the different varieties and stop them from cross breeding....? |

yes all this years young (some of the better ones i hope) there are 2 breeds on the slide show) chinese owls (feather dusters) limerick tumblers (feathers on feet) same as racing lads do with all the diffrent strains/familys by selective pairings |

| only 2 breeds....? wow, thought there were mostly all different breeeds. ive found racing takes up a lot of time but i emagine show birds will too as they will need keeping cleaner than racers as they have feathered legs etc........think my favourite is the first bird. what is it steve? |

little chequer is a chinese owl normally bin the chequers but this looks a good un so far anyway i find them lot less time consuming than the racers plus i only get up at daft o clock now if shows are distance away |

| always seem to be on the scruffy side i do same with limericks dark cheques go
some say im a bit harsh and should rearer them and sell (they not cheap to rearer a good young with todays corn prices either) plus thats how you end up over crowded then all the problems start so thats just how i am like to breed the type and colour i want
