| Royal Pigeon Racing Association 4 h · Defra have now published details of the loft registration and Export Health Certificate procedures. Read them here: https://www.rpra.org/euahregs-channel-racing/ Please note that lofts only need to register; the certificate will be obtained by clubs/organisations |

| This move doesn't seem too popular amongst fanciers and it's easy to understand why........ |

| as usual colin, i think its all about control , and money ........just another way to have people jumping through hoops, what is it all for anyway, because of avian flu (which has never effected pigeons)n or because the uk left the eu ? |

| the whole thing is becoming more and more controlling, and more restrictions being placed on the pigeon fancier, the longer we comply and jump through hoops the more restrictions are going to be placed on us..........and as long as fanciers desperate to race the channel are jumping through those hoops the worse they are making it for them selves, cast it all off and race north and get control of our own hobby back.
and start holding the rpra accountable for doing naff all for its members . |

| Not seeing a lot of leadership at the moment. A lot of big names living south of something like straight line east/west across UK from somewhere like Oxford northernmost, won't be so happy to turn north and now become the further fliers. Be starting their own specialist channel clubs as they tend to have the ££££ behind them anyway. I think that's the end of channel racing for the bread and butter, grass roots clubs. |
