An #AvianInfluenza Prevention Zone has come into force across Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset as of 12pm on 31 August. It is a legal requirement for all bird keepers to follow strict biosecurity measures to protect their birds from #birdflu. There were new cases of avian influenza confirmed at the following locations over the bank holiday weekend: Cullompton (Devon), Bridlington (Yorkshire), Paignton (Devon) and Constantine (Cornwall). See further information at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/avian-influenza-bird-flu
