Still batting away.

Those here into cricket etc may just remember maybe one of my local tribe down here from back when as such 85 years young he is today in general terms & still as keen & enthusiastic as when he first took up a bat around 75 odd years ago & first helped his dad there also at the time with their pigeons for the enjoyment factor Won one of the local Fed races at the weekend here from around 300 miles with 2000 odd birds as competition. Bill Lawry by name painful to watch in a test match scenario if being quite truthful      but most here I'm sure (in a local sense) somehow would be over the moon with utter joy with his fine effort at the weekend down here with his pigeons I suspect    .

good for him, hope he batted a few runs off too as a bonus !!

More likely Barnie maybe somehow just got totally pissed I would say to mark & remember the ocassion etc    .
