| Reminds me of the good old days on the allotments before the money boys with their posh lofts became involved.
See a magies nest in the trees behind, can be little theives.
Champions have flown to nothing more than orange boxes.
Clinical lofts the worst possible cause of loss of immunity.
Looking forward to your attempts at beating the big boys who have all the advantages.
Regards. |

| I think it all depends on where it;s fed from and what it's feeding George. Some electric lawnmower cables are a fair length and must comply with regs. Mine is caravan type cable, exterior rated and waterproof off ebay with a circuit protection device fitted each end. You rarely get a second chance when things go wrong electrically, always get proper qualified advice though. |

| still needs to be same external rated cable George especially with the wet weather we get. You can usually pick up a second hand caravan extension for £10 if you want roll it up and put it away during the longer days. |

| Pond waterfall pump been in 40 years, fed by normal plug and supply but cable encased in plastic tubing.
As barnie says, get proper advice from qualified source.

| when i was younger and lived at home i used to have an extension cable on a reel that i`d roll out while i fed them if it was dark when i got home from work, and wound it back in when i`d finished . ideally i think armour plated cable is needed for under ground in case your digging etc, but i dont see any harm in either mistys suggestion of a cable in a pipe or a washing line type like you say george, as long as its supported at intervals.......or even fixed around your wooden fence with clips. |
