First ybs

if those two early eggs of mine hatch i reckon it should be around thursday coming, not too confident they will do as they laid after 5 days .

no george, i never bother checking them, if they hatch they hatch if they dont they dont..........they will lay again .

Just actually rung my first two here today etc David after being mated on the 5th as such, more also to follow tomorrow type of thing in the stock loft. Haven't bought rings for years here Blokes here talking about 23 rings issued in 22 all mine will have 2013 rings on them when rung. End of the day instant old birds type of thing     one could perhaps say .

True & if I ever get round to racing them here again David I will expect the best of them etc to fly 5/600 odd miles as such.

we`ll see tomorrow if those two early eggs hatch or not ..........i reckon they wont as they were only paired up for 5 days .

this is the other yb very small the dam is small  will keep it as long it stays clean

yes shes doing well thank you misty, she was banned from climbing the stairs for a month, but for the last three days she is up and down as normal......she likes to sleep upstairs normally, so we can see she is a lot happier and back to normal .

vets visit later this month for a check up, but i think its just a matter of just letting her get on with life now and taking it easy .........

nothing wrong with those young birds george, they look clean and healthy .

one is very small David

it will grow george, plenty of food and water available and it will be ok ....does the parent/s still cover it at night ?
