Not to worry lads had you won you would have a stay as you are situation or downwards now it's upwards and onwards, first few races always dodgy.

All racing in the same fed, the fed then had thousands rather than hundreds going.

Often the pigeons well out of the hunt in the good club would have won any of the three other clubs.

One of the sad/tragic disadvantages of being old Misty I'm  Remembering, how things were etc. 100 plus flyers & 3 to 3 1/2 thousand odd birds was the starting point here at my local, local centre
(2 minute drive) back when. All gone now never to return type of thing, sadly.

Returns have always been far more important etc Ray from my perspective here when first starting a season off each year. If one somehow doesn't have them not much chance I suggest of getting to 17 type thing or even maybe 22   .

Guaranteed 100% that O/S I suggest   Like the sun etc rising in the East everyday & then setting in the West type of thing .

You would only get bored if you won every race.

Better to start slowly and get better than good and go backwards.

My money would be on you doing so.

Everyone has off days and this year has not seen conditions ideal to see pigeons performing at there best early on.

youve got the birds to win ray, and once they are on form im sure youll be up there winning the races .
