thanks Colin have bait stations down and 2 cages one as shown also have 2 spring traps set i'm not sure it's a rat did have color snake once

is there any tell tale signs of possible rats or mice around the loft george, apart from that one hole you had ....... have you just sat quietly at the house window looking out to see if theres anything running about ...? they do come out during the day .

it's been back eat a hole eat hole right through the back of the loft left cages and traps

no but garden at back feed one every night hope to set camera up to-day

got camera set up inside the loft

i think its a rat george ........not a fox etc, thing ive noticed with rats is they like more than one hole for entry or exit .

can you see any droppings

it is a rat David my son had set the camera beside the food i have now changed it round

any idea where they are coming from george, is your loft low to the ground, could they be living under the loft ...?

hopefully not, hopefully they are living elsewhere and coming in at night .

there is i think only the one David just can't catch it i need a sound detector to keep it away my son is looking for me

ive heard of those george, they emit an ultrasonic type of sound unheard by humans , but i always wondered if it would trouble the pigeons or maybe your cat ...?

will be buying one David then worry about others

yes getting rid of them is the main priority, especially with breeding season and young birds getting near .

have taken the camera out of the loft as a light may come on if movement in front of it

they can chew their way in over night george ....
