Break ins

Just heard another lift broke into here in the northeast. I still can't understand why they don't get cctv . They sell pigeons left right and center but won't pay 22 pounds a month for piece of mind by getting cameras in . Lots ask me about it but I bet only one or two have listened. They talk about packing in some .we got broken into a few times before we got this but not once since , so that's suspicious, probably someone we knew or know . I'd love to catch them haha . They certainly won't do it again

we got broke into years ago when we were racing well ........ killed a load of birds and left them in the loft, it was a human not animals,

someone didnt like us winning , and probably someone we knew .

Horrible people they really are .

thats pigeon men for you ray, some dont like to see others doing well .......but friendly to your face .

We don't bother with others as lost all our so called friends when we had only 2 wins the last 2 years but they will be deleted

i`ll be honest ray, i dont have any pigeon friends ......... the only local pigeon man and his grandson are friends anyway, regardless of pigeons ,

as for actual pigeon friends there are none, the members on this forum over the years , who 99% of them ive never met are more "pigeon friends" than any in real life .

We have one ex pigeon man visits us for a cuppa twice a day as he still has bird's but he doesn't race now . He was an excellent flyer . So that's it really apart from the odd phone call from club members but we prefer that

times have changed remember my dad taking me to a loft every Sunday and fanciers always coming to the house

i think there are cliques among pigeon men, most seem to like a drink hence they sit around the tables drinking and talking pigeons ..... ive never drank or been one of those who socialise very much, my best friend is and always has been the wife.

Definitely clicks in the pigeon world

top fliers swap birds with each other, makes sense regulates who gets what, but lower down the pecking order you have to buy birds in and hope they improve your loft.
