youngbird training 25mls

youngbird traning from jersey aprox 25 mls a bit of a desaster about 60 birds home on day many with 3 out of 20 reported home fog has come up not giving the birds much of a chance to get home we dont only have hawks to contend with we have fog and a lot of westerly winds as well
aprox 250 went

I didnt do to bad i had 13 out of 20 not good but thats the way pigeon raceing goes sometimes you have to take the good with the bad if you cant take the bad dont go into pigeons Our first race is on the 8th if we have any birds left

our first is this saturday from newark 57 miles to me, wont be sending as they are nowhere near ready.....so ill be trying to get them into the second race which is also newark.

i only got 6 outa my 14 birds sent thought i was goin to do better then this
