| any one on here keep these im looking for some to cross in to my own for next year so if anyone has or knows any one that keeps these and might have a few to go at end of season or maybe few youngbirds to sell next year (or even late breds) id be greatful for any help/info |

| I have meulemans in fact most of my stock is now based around them and van den bosche which are all janssens really, excellant birds. I have birds which the parents are chocs but never bred 1 my self. I might be able to find some for you but they are blues and pieds. |

| thanks for the offer but im looking for the choclates dont race these days more into colours than anything i only have one pair of cheqs but thinking of letting these old favs go this year to concentrate on the coloured racers take it these are holding there own for you in competion |

| they used to say the choclates where the breeders and the pencils and blues where the racers not sure how true this was never kept them when i raced |

| in a cuple of my jannssens pedigrees it says muelman janssens but the birds are blues and cheqs, so maybe they could breed a choc in future......... would be interesting to wait and see. p.s. steve they have a yb in the nest approx20 days old which i dont really want, shame it wasnt a choc........... |

| yes it is shame that david apperently the choclates weren't very good racers more of a stock bird if i remember right fron the 80's/90's when these where quite popular

| hi steve, i looked on the louella site last week and he still had quite few choc muelmans.....i know you wont want to go paying silly money off them but it just shows there are still plenty about.......... |

| just dont see them that often now didnt think lpw still had them i now i lot used them to cross into there jansen based familys but wot isnt jansen based these days |

| yes steve, just checked his sales list but they were on last week or the week before............now he has the roland janssens which seem to be mainly whites and white grizzles, the ones he had a couple of weeks ago were choccolates and pieds and did look quite nice birds. |

The birds were around 20 or 25 quid each and the agent delivered them to the door. |

| I have meulmans and vanden bosche, but not chocs, never bred 1 , I keep getting blues, pencils and dark chequers. They are my favourite janssens ver beautiful to look at, they race well But Im crossing them this year to see If I can make them a bit faster. |

| not raced them david, was going to pack in, just kept these for my pleasure, got 14 pair and 12 yearlings, changed my mind now going to have to get a y/bird team together, wont be racing the chocolates, will have to get something to cross into them... |

| As I have said before I have lots of meulmans, they cross very well with almost anything for racing, I put mine to deklak janssens and bred some good birds, my meulemans are dark chequers and bronze but no chocs, never bred 1, meulemans and van den bosche are closely related I have both and thats where the dark bronz birds come from, also blues and pencils. I dont like reds as a rule but do like some chocs and black splashed ones, nice looking birds shame not to race them. |

was thinking of trying to get some van reets or van camps to cross with them, what do you think??? |
