in a cuple of my jannssens pedigrees it says muelman janssens but the birds are blues and cheqs, so maybe they could breed a choc in future......... scratch would be interesting to wait and see.

p.s. steve they have a yb in the nest approx20 days old which i dont really want, shame it wasnt a choc........... No

yes it is shame that david
apperently the choclates weren't very good racers more of a stock bird
if i remember right fron the 80's/90's when these where quite popular

In 2008 my father purchased 12 Choc meulemans from a guy called Marcel van Ostaeyen he has an agent in the racing pigeon and the 10 that made it to the first race flew like demons one in particular picked up 5 prizes in 9 races. The birds were around 20 or 25 quid each and the agent delivered them to the door.

Very Happy As I have said before I have lots of meulmans, they cross very well with almost anything for racing, I put mine to deklak janssens and bred some good birds, my meulemans are dark chequers and bronze but no chocs, never bred 1, meulemans and van den bosche are closely related I have both and thats where the dark bronz birds come from, also blues and pencils. I dont like reds as a rule but do like some chocs and black splashed ones, nice looking birds shame not to race them.
