| had ybs away for training today, went 35 miles and sent 18.......16 came back within 5 mins of each other then the 17 came back approx 15 mins later, the last hen to come home was 35 mins behind the first birds and was verystrange when it came down.....she wasnt hunched but seemed to be stood a bit stiff looking as tho in pain, i picked her up and found no damage but noticed she looked a bit ruffled/tatty looking.... when i put her in the loft her droppings were watery and even tho she tried to eat she wasnt really bothered, ive seperated her into a darkend box as im wondering if she is in shock due to a hawk attack.....? bird was healthy before training and wasnt in panniers with other birds apart from my own.
any thoughts anyone please ? |

mick. think it could have been mick, i put her in a cardboard box so she was quiet and left her over night.........this morning she had made a good recovery and nearly back to normal, ill bet she was in shock. |

| Yesw your right David, more than likely in shock if she has had a near miss with a hawk |
