Well im hoping to give them a fly for their money I must admit the stock birds ive got are pure class. I had a lend of a beautiful blue cock off Harky on p.b. The young birds from this cock are beautiful.

Don't take this the wrong way amanda but until they have raced don't say anything is good as you may jinx the pigeon and lose it the next time out of the loft

If i ever went to someone else's loft i always said i don't like anything to help prevent any kind of jinx happening

Hi Don im not superstious. i hate it when you see something in your loft and then it gos missing. It just means to me that i was'nt ment to have that lol. But if someone has outstanding pigeons then i say so. Its happened to me when ive raved on about a certain bird i owned.(when i lived in Worcester) Then its never come back from a race. The worst bit is not knowing.

Never fell in love with a certain bird, or its offspring, stay open minded, see them as your team, Fokus on just the top team members, keep the team superhealthy as long as you can, even in the offseason. If one or two get lost, you can tell yourself this, " I did my bit " feel sorry for the ones who didnt make it, but stay focused on the champs.

thats a proffesional aproach to pigeon racing niel, and thats the way that will get you to the top......myself i think i would be too soft and get to like them too much to be really succesful, i think youve got the right idea and to treat them as a team to do the job in hand....
