| Have not got any pigeons but have found out from friends who have the breed that they are better as a cross and a more stronger pigeon than left pure |

| that would give a better result really ray, i dont think they can be fully tested with only a couple off a certtain pair.....but wether members would go for that idea i dont really know as they will want their own proven teams rather than testing someone elses birds maybe........... |

| hi don, they were called midland couriers and advertised in the BHW, i phoned them on monday and explained that steve would prefer them delivered wednesday due to work/other comitments etc and they collected before 10 am and steve had them a few hours later.........no messing about like some of them not turning up or arriving late etc, excellent, ill use them again. |

| David i think it is Andy Stokes of Stokes Bros and Son, they are good fanciers and know there pigeons Trevor Williams of Williams Bros and Sons works for them also
If you look in the Black Country Notes you will see them in the results more times than not
As you can see fanciers looking after pigeons and not the other way round |

| First saw the sootjens in 1987 at the NEC they were being shown by Terry Lodge of Top Lofts UK
Terry had late bred youngsters on show and they were all blues and to look at them they were like street pigeons, when asking Terry about them he informed me that they were the sprint machines of Belguim and were better than Felix Pauwels who at that times was the number 1 in belguim
Also he did say that once they moulted out the would look a different pigeon, Terry had 2 baskets of them and he was only there for just over an hour when a fancier brought the lot of him that saturday and of Terry went with a big grin on his face |
