Oldstrain/Darren`s Winner of winners. 2012.
From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
They certainly seemed eager to fly and great at trapping. From what I've read it seems that the birds from eastern Europe are really good especially, at the hard races - it would be quite interesting to know what type of distances they fly, the original breeds and the velocities they get??

Yes I did, they did seem a bit 'snug', I don't think they looked particularly agressive with each other though but you'd hope they weren't in there for too long as I don't think they'd find it easy to all get watered and it probably wouldn't be too healthy for them either.
