Watchfield - Club Fund Raising Auction 2011 YB's

Ladies/Gents,

I have gained permission from David to hold a fund raising auction on site for our club the Watchfield in The Vale HS, All monies raised will go into club funds to cover all costs associated with a competition i am orgainising to celebrate the 50th Year history

The competition will be called the Watchfield Triple Chance Classic 2011 which will comprise a gold ring event, a breeder/buyer event and an open race (see below for copy of advert). Obviously the initial set up of an event like this costs money ie to purchase the 2011 rings to be used for the gold ring, adverts etc etc

I have put together an auction list of 2011 yb promised by some of the best fanciers in the club, area and tried to accomodate all taste in breeds available. These youngsters would not be available but for such a cause and im sure will be bring success for the lucky purchasers.

Also as part of the breeder/buyer sales i will be travelling upto the North West and also to Scunthorpe in Feb/March so may be able to meet up with would be buyers around these area's to drop of any youngsters purchased to save courier costs.

Also if any site members are interested in taking part in the breeder/buyer event by breeding bird/s to be entered into the competition to fly for the breeders prizemoney that would be no problem and again as we will be in the North West/Scunthorpe as above we could meet up to save costs?

I will complete the list (Trust me they will all be quality youngsters and no doubt some outstanding bargains!!), and post either later this evening or tomorrow and will run till next Sunday with finish at 8pm, at the minute there are 15 outstanding lots and bidding will start at only £20ea

No doubt it will be fun during the week and a real chance for the lads to pick up some good bargains, dont need to pay silly money as if they all sell for just £25 we will have enough to buy rings/advert etc

Will start them all at £20.00 with increased bids of a minimum £2.50

I know they wont reach their true worth but irrespective the club & site members are on to a winner

Sounds like theres some really nice birds being bred for the auction, good luck to the bidders
