| not me thats doing the job ian, neighbour wanted it doing and altho i am a qualified bricklayer and laying flags is easy really, its not something i relish doing really....its not for me, i suffer from back problems now and then so i didnt want to injure it doing these flags when i could be laid up for two weeks..... i got a mate of mine to do it who i get work for now and then but the only thing is you have to watch him and make sure he does it right because if he can cut corners he will.....and it doesnt make me look good to the nieghbours. as it happens hes pulled a bit of a fast one with them and got paid so it looks like ill have to finish a couple of bits off for them as its down to me for getting him to do it for them, should have kept out of it and let them get a firm in to do it....... |

| sometimes its best just to stay out of things like this when nieghbours or family are involved......as it always comes back to bite you on the backside if/when something isnt done quite right. |
