| how many ybs would members say you could safely keep in a 6 x 6 section....? |

| For me between 20/25 max and there must be plenty of air flow in the loft |

| was hoping to keep around 25 ish but i had an inclin it might be too many, plus my ventilation needs altering before the racing season. |

| if you have ventilation then 25 mate, thats about the amount i have seen in lofts i've looked at and talking to people at the show |

| I know of fanciers having more than 30 in a 6x6 section but they have plenty of ventilation in the section |

| i did want to seperate cocks and hens but because i havnt got my new loft up yet i will have to have them all in one section.............thing is i dont think ill have enough ybs with 20..... |

plenty of perches too don, that and food/water is all the birds want |

| will darken it by putting something in between the plastic and dowells...perhaps thin boards.. |

| yes thats what i did alex, just used thin mdf boarding cut to size so it was a tight fit... |

| i just put these on at 5 oclock alex and removed at 9 in the morning.........held them in place with the little turn button catches. |

| yes it does, but having said that have you seen the snow photos of the loft will the trap i made fitted ? its suprising how much this has altered the flow of air into that section...maybe because the dowel section is lower down the door...? |

| no just a gap along the front and back at roof level.........also the dowel sections allow air in too. |

think there will be ginger, was talking to my next door nieghbour earlier who is a postman, he has been told to finish early and the post is piling up........ it just shows how the snow has effected everything doesnt it... |
