| i think big wattles and bold heads are something which are part of a breed/family of pigeons make up, its bred into them but if you start crossing other breeds which dont have theres traits it is bound to alter things........ |

| I can answer some of them but not all, I no there is a lot of foriegn birds coming in I dont no why we pay 2 sometimes 3 times more because they have that different ring on Iv got some myself but I dont think its got anything to do with strains I think a lot of people seam to think and mate to birds that would not breed a bird to fly from the bottom of the garden we all wont to get winners but shorly not to the dimise of pigeons I think we are cutting our own throat all most as if it dont matter about tomarow |

| Ginger your right when it comes to different rings everyone goes mad for a different on a pigeon
Remember Billy O'Neil saying he would never buy a belguim pigeon or a pigeon with a belguim ring as there pigeons came from our war time pigeons and he always said we here have better pigeons |

| Alex just think mate can breed 20 youngsters and get NL rings GB rings 10 of each
Bet you the 10 NL rung youngsters will sell at £50 to £70 pounds each and the same youngsters with GB rings will be harder to sell
Get a different ring and fanciers are more attracted to them |

| Your right Don, i'm not someone who gets drawn into similar things, but those birds with NL rings i am. Guess some of it is thinking theyre different?
At telford the NL ybs were about 50-100
On the stalls, Birds GB rung with good NL parents and pedigrees £40 |
