sue(aprilla)has just joined us and races her pigeons with her husband(i pressume) so i look forward to chatting to her about her birds and her management.

i race against my hubby we have our own loft no's and who wins doesn't cook sunday lunch

best day of the week saturday picture 2 chairs up the garden one bird coming in the disatnce hubby whistling me with a door bell and in comes a stray

we are in the country and on the line of flight so we see alot of feds go past our place

Sue u are right on our line of flight for both the Merseyside fed and Midcheshire Fed

we had a few strays in from liverpool this year they did clash i think

I can believe that Sue we did have a couple of sticky races when they shouldent have been,

one of the liverpool flyers bird came back with mine and trapped with it straight into the sputnik and another one took a dive in the pond this was yb's

By the sounds of it they couldent have landed at a better place, did the birds make it home under their own steam or were they collected

we fed and watered for two days and took them to North Birmingham and tossed them they made it home

hi sue, a door bell? is this what you have trained them to trap to? i think ken uses a whistle if i remember correctly, and also some of our other members do too....i tried it but couldnt get the hang of it so went back to shaking the corn tin....lol
