| that pencil cock is paired nicely to a lefebre hen, they are due to lay in the next few days hopefully.............expecting some nice ybs off them. |

| David my first youngsters hatched today, so wont be needing mine for a while at least 6 weeks. Cant remember who,s getting mine but they havent been laid yet, but should be this week, Im later breeding this year. but cant wait for the exchange birds to get racing this year. |

| think it says somewhere on site don, im sure it was in the yb auction ken held for club funds last year when ian donated two ybs off the hen. |

hi martyn, i only paired up 5th feb which was last week..........most are nearly settled down and looking ready to lay so will these be ok for you...? |

| most of mine look as tho they will be laying soon, altho i know this doesnt always work out this way........but hopefully i should get some to lay in the next few days and two of these will be the exchange ybs. |

| all my stock birds seem ok but the old bird racers are all 2010 yearlings so im just a bit worried about these laying |

| Yes I think thats my problem with the widows, they are all either yearling hens or cocks or both, they do always take longer unless they had eggs as youngsters while racing. |

| I have 3 yearling hens all had eggs as youngsters and went down faster than older hens within 10 days, so maybe good thing to let them lays in the first year? |

| well mine have been paired 9 days so im expecting something soon........altho i know some of them did take a day or two to accept there new mates so it might take a few days extra with some. |
