Whens the longest day...?

can anyone tell me when the logest day is, its the time ybs come off the dark isnt it........???

either 21 june or the 21 july mate think its the june one

i was goin to do the dark this year but didnt bother as my breeding whent all to pot was goin to do round about aswell but didn't bother will breed earlier next year so i'll be able to do both

rene, its a vicious circle........i bred early one year and got hardly any eggs hatching, this year i decided to pair up later and did get a better % of hatches but this meant the ybs were not weaned when the clocks altered to go onto the darkness............also ive found when they go ont he dark they stop exercising round home, i know everyone isnt like this but mine have been for the past 2 years.......now i think if i race next year i will pair up early and leave them natural and hope they moult out enough to race as tho they had been on the dark.....

wont happen david they will be dropping to bits come the latter races if you breed early get them on the dark ,

if bred early tho ian they might have moulted by the time yb racing starts.....?????

my birds never fly on the dark ian, i tried it last year and this yeaqr and they have done the same...............before they go on the dark they are bunching and flying great, then a week after going on the dark they stop flying........
