| wish they were graham, they were flying for an hour easily before going on the dark...about a week or two after they stopped exercising and mainly just fly in ones and twos etc but show no real enthiusiasm for it anymore..........i havnt done anything different and cant understand why, but the ybs did the exact same thing last year and never actually ranged but flew in very tight circles around the loft, im thinking because they never ranged this could be why i lost all but 2 of my yearlings a few weeks ago from 136 miles
i know other members are on the dark and their birds fly great, so im at a lost for the reason. |

| I was told if they do not range, toss them in all directions up to 10 miles. I too would be concerned if none range.
They are really good looking birds. |

yes thats true graham, ive had them early bred the other year and they dont want to fly......this is partly why i paired up later this year ....but im seriously thinking that if i continue next year i will just pair up early and leave them natural, mmaybe they will have moulted out more or less anyway. |

They are really good looking birds. yes chad, my ybs last year didnt range, yes they went training but thats from A to B so as you say they do need to know the surrounding areas so that if they go way past they might have a bit of a chance to get home maybe. |
