| My ybs are on super widow hood 5 days with horoform, 2 days same with extra peas and beans, then when we get to 200 miles I give extra proteen peas, beans, and peanuts. I never wiegh food just give a little and if it goes quickly they get more, then when they pick at it its removed. I think wieghing it is crap, we never eat the same food every day sometimes we are starving and others no apetite, birds are the same..are your birds to go hungry? and then fail on a difficult day? thats my opinion anyway. |

| hi martyn, i usually use the oz as a guide to see how fast they eat and if they eat it all, sometimes if they seem hungry i will give some more but basically it is just so i know that they have had a minimum of an oz. sometimes i will watch till a third of the birds take a drink and remove the food thats left, but i have also made the mistake of over feeding and they wont trap and just want to sit around outside. |
