I havent been on much so might have missed something, but what ever happened to last years FUT birds. Still waiting to hear about them. Did they race and did they come home? Thanks

hi martyn, the fut birds were sent to the race by ians son in law beacause ian was in hospital at the time.................out of the members who had birds in the race mark/lightens birds was the first bird home which was something like 285th in the race, as for returns i dont remember reading any posts/updates on this so i dont know how many came home.

o think if you look ian got a lot to fut but due to his stay in hospital none won but we ad reugular updates as can be seen in like the test loft that most seem to have for got

as graham said i was in hospital however i put regular up dates of what was happening , lost both of yours martyn they didnt get to the futurity maybe it was because they were bred in may i dont know but they had to play catch up , never mind always next year

im sure mark put a update on about the testloft a few weeks ago about there only being one left

change of plan with next years futurity race what i propose is this ,each member allowed one ring each for know depending on how things go , you pay £15 per ring , £10 for the ring , and £5 for prize money , if i sell 20 rings then they will be £100 for the first pigeon back to my loft, this will also save on amtrak , whats your thought on this let me know asap so i can get rings ordered , you can also pool your bird in the futurity when the time comes, also any bird that becomes lost whoever bird it is will have to pay for the collection of that bird

ok Ian no probs thanks for the update on my birds, I agree with my circumstances last year I was unable to breed very early and they were a bit late..anyway put me down for 2012. thanks

change of plan with next years futurity race what i propose is this ,each member allowed one ring each for know depending on how things go , you pay £15 per ring , £10 for the ring , and £5 for prize money , if i sell 20 rings then they will be £100 for the first pigeon back to my loft, this will also save on amtrak , whats your thought on this let me know asap so i can get rings ordered , you can also pool your bird in the futurity when the time comes, also any bird that becomes lost whoever bird it is will have to pay for the collection of that bird

why is it with all the members we have we seem to see the same names all the time i was hoping to see some of the old names coming back for this, and a lot of the ladies up for it at only £15 a ring. but then if you were to go to any club it's the same members who seem to do all the work and keep the club going while some just do nothing
