| David ofcourse you would remate pairs that produced your best birds on results. But would you cull pairs that produced youngsters that were lost? I dont think I will buy any this year, I just wonder should I concentrate more on certain pairs and get rid of ones I lost the youngster out of. |

if it was me i would give them another breeding season and then decide try and get 4 or 6 from each pair then you will have a better idea as you only started this year they may yet need time to settle properly jmo |

| i agree with what your saying darren, to get a good idea of if they are any good i would need six off them.........but im wanting all my ybs roughly the same age and not all different agaes like in the past, i think its more trouble than its worth having two rounds..........
altho if i float some eggs there would only be approx 10 days between them wouldnt they ??? |
