surely this is not everything everyone who enters birds in races wants to win but if you dont then ffs its not the end of the world , its enjoying the sport that matters this is where it spoils the sport in my view members will do anything to win and i mean anything , i enjoy my pigeons iam gutted when i dont win obviously but iam not going to beat myself up over it , end of the day theres only one winner in any one race you cant win all of them, i think you are in for more disappointments over the season , whats your view on this matter/

when you think about it racing the programme old and young birds amounts to no more than 20 days if you win its a bonus and trust me i try very hard to win but when i dont i shake the hand of the winner and go home end of ....the next day i go out to the lofts feed clean and water the birds just the same and outside racing season the birds are treated the same come what may weatherwise as the birds are my pets above all else but christ their are some sore losers out their who come out with all the bull and they do make you laugh with their exscuses but i feel this type of character is killing the sport ,one guy in my club was 1st one week and 5th the week after then treated his birds with beytril because he had not won the race also cankered the same week ffs needless to say his birds aquired super health and he won the race the following week he was last and the week after then he stopped racing ...yes he f****d his ybs up all because he could not handle being beat its no wonder the sport is up against the wall with the greed out their jmo ffs enjoy yer birds if you win its a bonus

i,m not one of those who treat all the time when i get beat,i just work harder with them if i can ,maybe try a few different things as well...i hate it too when they do that darren..a good pigeon man is a one who knows what hes doing with his birds and not relying on shite to put them right

I enjoy my birds and ive had 2 wins in 22 years, If I took it to heart I would have packed in Years ago, we enter hoping to get a win but like you say Ian, its not the end of the world, If I get 100 % returns in a good time then im more than happy with my day, I suppose its all about what you put in to it, each to our own though

we all want to win ray just some more than others not saying its a bad thing , but its just when people take it to far and use illegal stuff to win this is the downfall of the sport |
