| Well it's time to leave the family once again, for a few days. I'm off back to the lofts. Time for some hard work once again. I don't know what it is about the lofts, but it always makes me feel creative. I've now drawn up a plan for an automatic drinker system for the stock loft. We only ever give them natural rainwater, so a small 12v pump connected to the water butt and a small float connected to a bar that rests on a micro switch, should do the trick. Watch this space. |

| The lofts are in Preston mate, I live in Southport. So I tend to split up my week. Three days at the lofts and I stay over and four days at home, I find this is more productive. Mad is the word David. I think I must have too much time on my hands. Usually time has always been in short supply. A lot of my ideas, I have had for years, but I have never had the time to implement them. Due to work commitments and then a spate of poor health. Now I've got my health back and got time on my hands, I tend to take full advantage. Your right Don, I'd better think up of a poo detector and flush system LOL |

| There's two of us. I'm bringing 18 pairs home to breed. Racing season, I'll be hands on down at the lofts. It works quite well. |

| ah right, i remember when we had pigeons in an allotement years ago,it was a nightmare carrying water, food etc every day...........especially in the winter. im glad i have them at home now, i dont think i could cope with allotements now.
theres nowt like having them at home, especially in the breeding season when im up and down to the loft checking on them. |

| We have four lofts in total. There used to be five. We have a good friend just across from the allotment. He has the CCTV system that overlooks it, he also has the spare keys. If ever we do have a shortage of water, he's very obliging with the hose pipe. But we have water butts that collect the rainwater. Our next project is going to be like a utility shed, where we will store the corn, a quarantine section where we can house any sick birds or new ones which we bring in. My new breeding loft is just attached the side of the house with all mod cons. I'm also building a dedicated computer system with four channel cctv so we can view the lofts from home. It's a going to be a proper mad professors loft. |

| We can have a channel on line to watch, so I think it would be easy to make a link. |

Proper Job mate just like Staf van Reets son's Ronny had withhis partner cctv in the loft to watch the pigeons, if you get the video of Staf you can see it on the film. |

| It's going to be a challenge, but no doubt it can be done. The stock loft at home will be easy to do as I could do it by webcam if need be. I've got a laptop sorted for the loft with a dongle for connecting to the internet. and I have an assortment of camera and stuff here and there. |
