| Hi, Youngsters are best left alone but must be watched to see they are not bullied from eating, A little tip is after a few days, if you havent seen the youngster use the drinker you might find its eye or eyes blink as if its winking at you, this means its dehydrated and hasny drunk, then you take the bird in hand and with its head over the bowl use your finger to swish the water so it can see and hear it, then after a minute of this push its head down so the beak up to its wattle is in the water. do this for a few seconds then let go, do this a few times and it should drink. If it doesnt drink try again later until it does. then it will know and you wont have to do this again. |
