Geriatrics ten out of my eleven pairs are now down.

Well 10 out of the 11 pairs are now down, but sadly looks like two pairs haven't filled. But can't complain. Sometimes though, the first round with golden oldies can be a bit of hit and miss.
All the birds on the allotment are now down and we got 17 hatched.
Which is a good result.

glad to hear it gary, looks like youve avoided the severe frost and freezing weather so far........hope they do well and look forward to seeing some photos of them on site soon.

We even insulated the loft panels too.
I will need to get down to allotment and spend a day soon. Will take the camera along too.
My lot should start to hatch just after the New year.

thats good news gary as you say older birds are hit and miss but they must be in top conditions mate fair play

They are Don, Fair play to my mate Kev, he has kept them in good nick.
I've just took over where he has left off.
I'm excited at the prospect of recreating my old lines.
The first round are stock anyway, then we are splitting the next rounds between us for our race teams.
I can't wait
