ancestry.co.uk/ geordies

hiya guys,

i have been doing a family tree research , my grandmother was from oldham and my grand father was from tynemouth, they met during the second world war and moved to birmingham in the late 40's .

up to yet i have found a birth cirtificate for my great grandad dated 1895 by the name of john thomas hendry, residing in sydney street tyne-mouth,
any you guys from shouth shields way now if this street still exists,

was using ancestry.co.uk but at 13.95 a month got to do it the hard way.

any help would be apreciated

me being part geordie

hi chris, have you typed the name of the street into google...?

Tried that david but no good it may be that it do nt exist anymore ?? Gonna see if i can find a postcode but i don't know were to look at the moment

hi there the street you may be looking for is sidney st tynemouth north tyne side when on google this turns up hope this helps as i live about 5 mile as the crow flys from this place it now looks like it has a newish houses built on there now .

chris i think if you e-mail the records dept swan house newcastrle you might get some good info a lot of the old housing has been replaced with new in all parts of the newcastle areas sean
