live nestcam.....

this nestcam is in a peregrine falcons nest box set up by the rspb and birmingham council, the pair of pigeons have moved in and are sitting eggs.....you can watch them 24/7 and see if they can hatch their eggs and get the ybs away before the falcon returns, LETS HOPE SO....

feel sorry for the pigeon....sat there all day, no food, no water....thats showing some character about it, hope it rears the young and gets out of there.
will be keeping a watch on it to see how it does....

anyone been watching the nestcam? is there just the hen or is there a cock......

yes there is a cock and hen a friend of mine saw them change over

hi, im sorry to say i think something has hapened to the pigeons,...the camera has been off all day so it can only mean one of a couple of things, firstly the falcon has come back...or the rspb/birmingham council have removed and killed them. my bloods boiling.....

hearing news that the camera is broken, have to wait and see...

Its still not on.

was getting worried for them...id been watching them for days and was thinking they had been killed or the rspb had them removed. seems there is a lot of people looking out for these pigeons by what i have read over the internet.....

Hi David, im soooo pleased they are ok . Isnt it amazing how we get caught up in their lives

And yes my father was a pigeon man. Thats how i got into this wonderful sport of ours. My brother Kevin is a pigeon man also.

its in your blood then amanda, does your brother do well with them and doesnt your dad keep them any more ?

just seen one of parents come off eggs for a minute, must have though it was change over time,noticed they are only sitting one egg.

anyone noticed that the nestcam has been recognised for the pigeons in it, where it says "on this site" on the right hand side they have altered it to read live nestcam for peregrine/pigeon.......i think they have found out there are a lot of people including pigeon fanciers and twitchers who are taking an interest in their welfare....

just checked nestcam, they have rewrote the text and now recognise the camera is for the pigeons and acknowlaged there is fascination over it by a lot of people...

nestcams off again, been off most of the day...hope its back on tommorrow the egg should be due for hatching pretty soon.

i checked it earlier david and it was off then,do hope they are alright.

hi little hen, good to see you are keeping your eye on them...lol ive kept taking a look every now and then throughout the day and the camera has been off all the time, maybe just a fault and should be back on tommorrow.

hi, camera back on......birds happyly sitting their egg.

just been on the site, picture not good ,have the eggs hatched yet because i thought so

camera broke again.......
been some thinking they have hatched ray but cant tell....they seem a bit restless as tho ybs have hatched but cant decide if they have and havnt seen anything.

something stinks ....just checked on the nestcam and its back on but the pigeons have gone...its been off for a few days and now it comes back on and the birds are not there ????? very suspicious, it was widley said that the eggs had hatched so where are they as well ?

Did the falcons return or did they murder them ?
