| got my first ring on a young chick 2 days ago..egyptian swift..looks like it will be an opal... waiting on some fantail eggs hatching also..so heres hoping.....picked up a pair of saxon croppers for my young lad today,already saw the cock bird threading the hen. but of course the birds i really want to breed,my modenas are moulting,so guess i will have to wait a bit longer for soem young from them.. |

| had another 2 out yesterday..and 2 more chipping this evening..the kids are delighted.. ...the swifts have laid again,and also 2 prs of chinese owls plus 1 of my prs of modenas,the hen looks like she will lay very soon...sitting in nesting bowl alot atm..so heres hoping,they are the ones i really want to breed...lol i will maybe just take 2 rounds from the pairs i have here atm,i think that would be more than enough for me to handle for my first yr breeding. |

| Nice one David iv got some in the nest rung now and im picking up some young birds tomorrow that i ordered so ill have 20 in the young bird section tomorrow |
