i think ian does if im not mistaken don, my neighbour who sent hes with the club training yesterday said they were coming back in ones and twos with pink wattles because they had been through heavy rain....and some were still not back later in the day for him and others, dont know what happened to make them late like that......maybe clashed with other trainers ???

when you go club training its best to have had a few yourself as other members pigeons drag yours away as theres have not been schooled properly , however this is good experience

David that for me is good training because it is making them work there brain and this is the making of the pigeon a god pigeon can cope but a bad pigeon can not

Must say a few fanciers i know when the young birds have had some training they will feed the birds early on a saturday about two hours before they let them out

When letting them out they do as the young birds can clash or be takern by any large kit so this makes them race overground that they have not seen before and at the end of the day if they are all there then you can say this team of young birds have got something about them

was reading an old pictorial yesterday don and i think it was d.v.belding said that when the first race birds had passed his loft he would let his ybs out....he said it was good learning for them as if they got carried off with race birds they would have to break away and find their way home.....he recond he had never lost a yb by doing this!!! rendeer

You school young birds well then you will not lose any at all once racing has started as the ones left are the brainy ones left
