Just read on another post from Steve about raising some money for the site (ie yb/latebred sale) later in the year which we are in agreement with.
Just had a thought
which may help get this started?
As those of you who know us, Me and Dad have been creating a sprint/middle distance familiy since the idea of the formation of the above since 2003. This would have come to fruition in 2006 after a fantastic season which cumulated in us winning 30 x 1st prizes, but unfortunately this had to be delayed due to me having to relocate due to work circumstances
But after further deciding to test this familiy now racing in a different area as having continued success, we decided to advertise in the BHW studbook 2010 (see below)
Bargain for the forum members only, any forum member who wishes to purchase any youngsters, we will donate 10% to the forum fund, so ie a team of 6 for £200 with £20 of this going to the site. The price excludes carraige but i am sure that we can arrange to meet halfway if that helps anybody?
Anybody that doesnt know us, speak to fellow forum member Friendsloft who will tell you about us copy of advert:-

Note the racing loft in Hungerford was basically set up due to Mark relocating down South due to work commitments in October 2006 and we saw this has another opportunity to challenge/test our family of versatile birds, so racing commenced from Hungerford with young birds in 2007, as you can see in a very short time these birds have represented us very well indeed which just demonstrates the potential that these birds possess.

In 2009, we sent 2 x YB up to a fancier friend in the North West to try against his own already very successful team:-
08.08.09 – NWHU 09 E 3101 1st Club, 1st Fed, 1st Combine Mangotsfield 130 mile (approx)
15.08.09 – NWHU 09 E 3102 1st Club, 1st Fed, 1st Combine Yeovil 168 mile (approx)
Background:- We commenced the PGW Loft’s vision in 2003 and started to test the first descendants in 2004 winning the federation twice with youngsters, we have maintained our vigorous selection process over the last 5 years to its present level and as a result we have created a sprint to middle distance family capable of competing in the right hands with anything out there, the odd birds that we have let go from our lofts over the last few years have mostly gone on to win or breed winners for their new owners upto federation level, ie amongst others a good friend in Warrington won 2 x clubs on the same day in 2007 to break his novice status after 10 yrs and he has continued to score since. So yes the families housed at PGW Lofts are tried, tested and winning for others
Young Birds available from February 2010 at £35 each / a kit of 6 for £200 (all come with parents & brief details only).
Or (priced at £40 each, with a full four generation printed pedigree for your purchases)
(sorry but pedigree’s only sent out during close season as with work, young family & competitive loft - time is at a premium)
