RSPB Accused Of Double Standards

It appears that lots of facts are now beginning to emerge accusing the RSPB of double standards.
The RSPB have kicked off about DEFRA using £375,000 to research ways to stop Buzzards impacting on pheasant shoots.
Yet the RSPB orchestrated a mass cull on the Ruddy Duck which cost the tax payer in excess of £5 million.
So does this mean that only they are allowed to use to the tax payers money for such things, it certainly does make you think.
Many bird lovers and conservationists were opposed to this mass cull in which 7225 Ruddy ducks were killed between 2010 and 2012 leaving just a remainder of 100 feral ducks in Britain.
It certainly does make you think who are calling the shots in the government.

how are the rspb able to use 5m of the tax payers money...? i thought they were a charity ?how do they have tax money at there disposal ?

Through lobbying the government.

so the whole country is facing cuts, everything is third world standards and the governent are spending money on this crap.....?

Somebody worked a rough estimate out of the cost and it worked out something stupid like £780 per duck. Unbelievable.

Because they put they idea to DEFRA, if DEFRA agree, then DEFRA will provide the funds, hence from the taxes.
