don, i think kieran means they had 73 ybs, they killed 8, and lost 5 off the loft.........

i presume this is what he meant don, could be wrong though

We had the youngbirds out this afternoon and Percy came over and landed on the pylon for 45min it would have been eyeing up were it can get get its next food source then it just flew back to the west so we will have to keep a look out for it.

hi david only just got them all flying ended up having to chase them up with the brush the majority of them where flying a few weeks ago but as iv been adding more young birds into the shed i have found it has slowed the progress down. They are only flying for 20mins at the moment most of them are over weight hopefully they will sort them selves out over the next few weeks

35 young birds flying well a hour at a time on darkness.
24 young birds on natural just started to let them out a week ago.

Kieran theres plenty of time mate the season is long and hard for young pigeons

Had the youngbirds out this afternoon flying well when they went through the pylon wires one which we fancied a dark cheq hit them and killed its self and when we counted them we av 2missing its always the ones you fancy wot cop it gutted but wot can you do.

i know how you feel van reet man one i got off ian hit the pylons we have loads down our road poor bugger broke both legs and ripped her chest dont know how it made it on the loft also once the birds come out the loft we have high trees to the right as they go over the house once used to them they get by ok just first few weeks pain in the arse mate

Last year we had a youngbird break his leg on the wires then he did it again but luckily his ETS ring took the bulk of the contact so he had a limp for a couple of days then he were fine.
