| i donk think anybody can say that there birds will come straight down from a race every single time therefore in my opinion it is a must to have trapper ready incase you need it |

Hi David, have you thought about using a light instead of a whistle? |

no Ian, a light, as in a flashing beacon, it's the same principle as the whistle but without the noise you have a flashing light in the young bird shed, whenever it's feeding time, it's on, then same again when you want them to trap, but obviously outside the loft, it's all about association |

| dont think ive heard of this before fred but i suppose they could be trained to respond to anything.....its all about teaching them to assosiate food with whatever you decide to use as the sign. ive heard of fanciers using a clicker (which is used for dog training) as a sign that they are wanted to come in the loft, which means food........ |

| hi fred, if im not mistaken i think amanda (dark chequer) or sue (aprilla) use a door bell in the loft and press it for the birds to trap........ no doubt one of them will let us know who it is.... |
