another wet day here in Southport.

overcast and damp here so no training for the ybs today still waiting to give them the first toss

Dull here in Grt Harwood hopeing it clears up as we are going to take the youngbirds for there 1st toss.

been raining here during the night but stopped now, hope to get ybs out later.......red cheq still not back from yesterday

I just had mine out for 50 mins, they just cleared off and then straight back into the loft on their return.

Took the youngbirds today 53 of them 3miles all back and flew around for over a hour when they came back glad thats out of the way onwards and upwards now

glad to hear it vanreetman, will it be another 3 miles or further next time ? i managed to get mine out again today and they are doing a bit better now, should be ok by next week i hope.

typical the suns out now the ybs have been fed ,weather in bristol tomorrow looks good so it will be their 1st toss tomorrow 5 miles glad to hear yer 1st toss went well vrm

i got all mine back as well.one was missing from yesterdays toss but turned up today...i,ve had a few reported in the last 2 days which went missing from loft ,which is very unusual.i think i had a mini fly away but a few have turned up themselves.i did,nt even know they were missing

hope all goes well for you tomorrow darren, its the same here, i feed up durin te day when its raining then it fines up at tea time and is the best part of the day...........

Raining again here too, tried to basket mine today twice, but every time I went to start it started raining. So had to give it up as a bad job.

Took the youngbirds to the same place again today allback they flew round for a hour when they came back no chance of a toss tomorrow as we are going to get a months worth of rain in 24hours its bucketing down now.

glad the training went well vanreetmen, when will you be increasing the distance ...?

The next toss will be 6miles David they will get 2 there then 10miles x2 then 15miles x3 then if we have the weather a couple of 30milers then the race on the 21st July thats the plan

another good toss tonight,a few more like that then we are going to step it up to 12 miles...looking good

glad to hear trainings going well, wouldnt worry too much gaz, they will be back............

no training today just loft flying mrs had a bad day today with her back ...no rush anyway plenty time yet and to be honest i dont mind missing the first 2 races as alot of the chaff has gone by then along with any unhealthy birds well most anyway ...good to hear other members training is going well atb for the coming season
