this is a latebred cock out of my best stock bird which ive just lost out of my loft, hope he breeds a good un this season.





this hen is a janssen ive just bought in





ill be pairing her to this 09 janssen cock





this ch cock is also a janssen which has won 3 1st racing, and also bred 1st prize winners





this janssen hen has also bred 1st prize winners and will be paired to the ch cock above.

well im all paired up only one pair but not too fussed as there late breeds and hens rearing to go .. then hens are down but cocks walking away so im just leaveing them do it there selfs now ... got one that already made nest with straw

no phil, i lock then up together until they seem to be taking to each other then i let one or two pairs out into the loft to get them used to going to the correct nestbox.....i know its time consuming but it has to be done, altho i do like kens method of dry run pairing as if done like this it ensures they are all ready to pair when you decide you want to and also it is good if you are wanting to float eggs.

ok david ive done mine like that let few out then all done as i thought and went in this morrning to find one hen with diff cock so left them to it .. and other pair r l/b so ive just locked them up and was told to leave all locked up till there sitting .. but all the hens seem to be lowering down ready but cocks just walk away lol i think it too cold
then someone told me tonight to take hens out over night and put them back in next day then i should of cracked it ...

lock their box up phill then put them on their own in a spare end for a bit ,that,ll work

They are beautiful looking birds David, im sure they will breed you some thing special

They look spot on David like the others say dont need to wish u look as they look like the will do you proud
