hi there every 1 new 2 the site but wat ive seen so far looks very helpful.i was just hoping someone would no how i go about getting the details of my local club. at the moment i keep rollers but looking 2 start racing pigeons in the new season if i can get into my local club. also would any1 no where 2 get sum decent birds from 2 breed from.ive bin looking on a few bird web sites but i'm abit worried that most of the ads look like con men and some of the prices r ridiculous Smile .thx

Hi Rick, welcome to the forum.
Depending on which area you live, it would be easier to send an email your regional secretary who will put you in touch with clubs in your area.

Now is the best time to start looking for birds as many fanciers will have surplus racers for sale. Also you may find many sales around this time of the year run by local clubs.
Personally I would seek the guidance of a local fancier to point you in the direction of good birds.

thx for the quick reply.i have emailed the r.p.r.a man office.plus i have also emailed my district office which is situated in leeds but that was 2 weeks ago still ive herd nothing bk.infact it said my district secreterys email address was no longer in use.how well maybe the next thing 2 do is get on the phone.probably should of done that in the first place Smile .just another quick question if i get hold of some of this years late breds.would i be able 2 race them in next seasons old bird races. just need 2 see if i can get into a local club quickly so i can start preparing thx

I'm in blackley its in north manchester.I've had rollers for 2years 2 get sum experiance. Now with abit of luck I can move on 2 racers lol

Thx a lot gaz.its only 5 minutes down the road hopefully that will be my lacal club or there no my local club.thx again m8 hopefully if I can join I'll be askin a lot more advice from this sites good members
