| went to the loft at 5.45 to lock up and take out the feeders and on the trap was alfie the grizzle named after our son he is still rubbered up and has a slightly discoloured wattle but a clear throat and no wheezing so probably just a bit dirty from scroungeing about and seems very well apart from being a little underweight and tired,we lost this pigeon in our last race from leicester where we had a smash and he performed reasonably well before that race so pleased to have him back and is earning a rest in a nest box for now thats 10 of the 12 ybs left that we raced |

| Yes OLD--we never know when to count a Bird Lost. I had one to come home after 2 years---must have been in another flyers Loft and finely got out. - oldstrain wrote:

| I have this year mate and the birds have never looked so good. I think Naturaline has been the only pigeon product I have used all season. |

i read up on it gaz and it did cross my mind but think manuka honey is as good to be honest although coconut milk is meant to be brilliant for re-hydration as its packed with electrolytes i know it has other properties to ,i know a guy who mixes his naturaline with apple cid vin 50/50 and gives 10 mil per litre and swears by it but i been using bamfords t3 when this runs out i am going to give it a go as it will work out alot cheaper and will be very similar and along with a iron and iodine tonic will be the only things that will go in the water from now on using the nat twice a week and the tonic once the rest fresh water ........yes we are learning all the time m8 |

| Cheers for that Darren. Yeah that T3 is Gary Spavins mix, I think it's very similar to naturaline. Your right though there is a difference in price though. I think naturaline is a good base for anything, I never thought about mixing with cider vinegar though, I might give that one a try. I'm going to fit a water but next and just give um rainwater, I'm sure we will get plenty of that. lol |
