I think we need a digital scales for it to be accurate, and we need to wiegh an average pigeon, then do the maths, and find out for sure how much the birds are carrying .

the ets will not make your pigeons go anyfaster thats your job it just makes it trap faster. ets is there to make life easier for people who choose to use the system. i have talked to some people who without ets they would have to give up pigeon racing due to family and work comitments but with ets they can still enjoy the passion of the sport without worrying how they are going to clock the bird on race day.

i have no objections to anyone using ets, we mostly have the choice to use it or not use it.....but lets face it for fanciers who use ets it is more convienient and it does give an advantage over normal clocking methods without a doubt......otherwise why use it ? likie i say, it makes no difference to me but lets not say it does not have an advantage overmanually clocking a bird......

thats what im saying ian, some on ets will not admit it has advantages over normal clocking when it does.....makes no odds to me as my club wont allow it......but if they did i would use it. but to be totally fair we all should either use it or not use it within the club to make it a level playing fie also you are right ian, it is the future........

the only advantage ets has is clocking in the bird but you have to get that bird fit and ready for that journey

thats very true, the bird has to be there to be clocked in the first place.......but one thing to consider is that no person can manually clock 6 birds in as fast as 6 birds can be timed by ets.....so therefor it does give the ets user an advantage over normal clock, plus as ian says no scaring the birds.... another point i would like to make is........why cant i now time in two rubbers in one thimble.....? |
