I think this will be a great experience for all involved, without any ulterior motives.
Every credit to Graham for suggesting the Idea and to David for being the treasurer.
I think any project like this should be overseen this way, this not only offers some some protection to the fanciers involved, but also instils confidence to the members embarking on such a venture.

I'm sure this will be a great success and will be enjoyable by all who enters.
I am also going to donate an engraved trophy to the winner of the final race.

so thats 34 birds so far from members, is there any one else like to join.......even with paying out £50 per race it looks like the winner of the last race will recieve a nice lump sum.

had a message from graham today, hes still busy decorating his sons flat for him but hopes to be finished and back on site soon..........hes asked me to let members who are entered into the test loft know that he would want all ybs entered NOT to be vaccinated, as he would prefer to do them all himself.

i think the whole test loft idea of 50 pound per race for the first 7 races, then all whats left on the longest final race has made this more apealing to members this time, it gives everyone a better chance of getting something out of it........plus a chance to test their birds on an even playing field against fanciers who they wouldnt normally be competing against.

Not only that David, but it also enables members to compete against each other, that will be good for a bit of banter on site.
But it just goes to show with the right people involved in the organising, things can be done properly and fairly.
