NORTH AND SOUTH

right ,not taking anything away from peoples results,as they hard enough to come by but is there a differance between north and south results.i have topped the section here out of on average 7000 birds a few times and got nothing to show for it,not even a card nothing,which i think is disgusting really concidering the the work we put in.in the south they get all sorts of which they deserve.is it like this all the time down there when they win.i personly think we in the north should do the same as the south boys.also do they class one win as 3 ie when i topped the club the fed and the section like i said eariler i classed it as one win not three,what do they class that as.i would like some opinions on this please thanks ray

hi ray, cant coment on it really as im new and dont understand all this north and south stuff......but i dont think its fair that some, like you.......do well in there section but yet dont get the rewards and recognition they deserve........

yes ray same here won the youngbird national in club topped the fed and second section , also 38th combine out of 20,000 birds all i got was a club card and combine card , think you should get fed cards and section cards why dont we

Hi Ray most of them class a fed, club and section win as 3 wins.
I must admit im gob smacked that you got nothing for topping the section. It seams silly to me that you get a card for the club and fed win and nothing for the section.
So the question is who organise's the section ? Surly that is where the problem is.

Ps i agree that it should it should count as one win though, not 3 different ones. I think its more honest. The reason i say that is because i brought a bird for Davey as a surprise and it had something like 22 wins. But when i got the cards and checked things out. They had class them all seperately. It can get confusing

we have been there he has no interest what so ever in cards and the like,we do,nt even get fed cards

Can you bring it up at your agm or have a meeting? If the guys not going to do any thing for you, then get some one in that will do the job or at least enquire at a fed meeting if there is a reason why you cant have cards for winning the section.
Failing that why not telephone Dave power the nehu sec and ask him.

i think some have tried,they are just told well do them yourself if you want cards

i asked a guy in club they get cards, its secretarys job to do them, fed members voted no pay rise for sec less members so less work

dont think club sec gets much money for doing the job do they ? i know ours was there when i raced before so id say hes been sec for approx 25+ years.......and he isnt driving a fancy car.

ours get around £200 ayear

i was on about fed secretary David, its his job to provide cards for winners

hi steve, wasnt really comenting on what you had said re fed sec being paid less.......with you mentioning secrataries just got me thinking how long ours had been in the job thats all......

dont thinl i could have stuck it for 25 years.......

they do a lot of work for club for peanuts
