sitting youngens

when did you pair up david

cant remember, but ones sitting eggs are due to hatch sunday and monday.......and one pair yearlings were paired at same time and others a week after....

what you done wrong

Steve when i was younger liked the distance but for me now it,s like watching paint dry

Now if i was racing am only interested in sprint racing 200 miles max

some of mine have,nt laid as well david, mostly my new ones

i have same problem david with me yearling from a flyer near me give me 2 hens one laid within 8 days and the other still have nowt just both down in the bowl wich they filled with straw and then the new ones from ian r filling bowl with straw and still got 2 old hen to lay ... ive had nowt from them yet
but when i come home today the yearling hen was laid in the bowl ...

dont know why its happened phil, ive three pairs of yearlings and not one of them has laid......the 08 and older birds all have tho.

Sometime it's mainly because they am just yearlings and is there fist time paired up

Think we were all the same when we were younger first time

all i keep getting told david is nature will take over from 3 old flyers and to just sit back and wait leave them do the work not me make them lol ....

yes phil, stopped worrying about it.....im just leaving them to it now and if they lay they lay,if they dont so what...... me getting stressed over it wont make any difference.....

4 harrison & hull latebreds hatched august, both prs sitting eggs 2 days between them, some of older birds havent laid yet, only 1 of 4 prs flying out havent laid yet

Just keep a close eye on the, or place some a warm pot egg under them sometimes it helps

dont worry they will lay in there own time

took photos on new 3 cocks and hens will post them later, nest box floor mucky dont want to disturb too much only been in stock loft at home 4 days
