Hi All anybody ever held this posistion in their club or fed, if so how did you find it, any tips would be helpful

one job i would,nt like to do,a lot of time and hard work they should get help off all the members in the club

ken one thing i can say with this new ets system your race sheets and velocitys are much easier

Yes Ian i agree with you there, im like a fish out of water at the moment, but im sure i will get the hang of it i hope, Myself and my mate Bill have taken over the running of the club we found new HQ today, finding out who i have to pay and what organisation fees have to be paid, filling in forms the list goes on and on lol

I've never been secretary, but my opinion for what its worth, keep receipts for all money paid out and got in, and write everything down. good luck with it, it's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it

Thanks Fred ive got spread sheets which my daughterr has done for me, as for finance im starting from scratch as the previose regime made sure there was nothing left by paying it all out in prize money etc, the balance sheet was passed then 12 members including the top table resign, think they were hoping we would let the club fold
