2012 bird lost before start of racing appears on the traps so I let it in,, chech the bird seems nothing wrong with it apart from it has had a damaged leg toes slightly misshaped and one has a lump on it (under skin),, been isolated for almost a week body has built back up nicely feathering is good and droppings have been perfect all week with down ...
What would you guys doo??

id give it to the ferrets jmho a day or two id let it back in the team but not weeks

Months and months its been in somewhere been well looked after

Months and months its been in somewhere been well looked after

del personally i wouldnt take it back in but i have heard of people did similar and the birds scored for them

Give it a single up from decent distance at least 20 miles any direction. If its back in good time do it again from different direction, but don't go changing your racing plans just to accommodate one bird.

Bit harsh "Ferrets" many strange things can happen to pigeons etc One mistake ok two mistakes dangerous territory 3 bad luck !!!!!! fertilizer/bin.

If its a sprint type but if distance bred could turn out a hell of of pigeon if you give it a chance and nurse it into a couple of comeback races later in the summer

Good pigeons can make a mistake ;look at the Janssen Bro Old Slate cock they lost him from a toss ;went & got him back ;the rest is History ; adlest yours got home on its own steam :? cheers

Always been a bit soft Ross. only had one, 45 yrs of misery nothing is going to change etc. "Why would it" She who must be obeyed just come back from shopping here just now. One gaint apple pie & cream (my favorite) was placed in front of me here. I tried to be strong but my will power is shot to pieces I'm afraid & so, I couldn't force myself to put it in the bin.
