Birds were released at Ypres this morning at 7 00 good luck to all ho as birds in the race, good luck Kev dont wish you no harm but hope your 2nd behind me

Thanks Guys, no news through yet, we are still awaiting the results of our race on Saturday which turned out to be a smash from 490 odd miles. Only a few daybirds in the whole of the Algarve in 4 federations. I hope the Somerset birds fair better, good luck to everyone including Terry the race organiser and the birds.

There will hopefully be more birds back by now and no doubt Terry will update later on, for what ever reason the birds have found it difficult again today. I hope there are good returns as I know the hard work that Terry and Jane have put in to the birds and the care and attention to detail they give is first class.

Hi Ginger Hopefully some more will make it today, Namely yours and my bird lol.
I do not know why the birds have made a meal of of it, a mere 250 mile flight, little to no wind on the channel and Ypres perfectly lines them up for home at the narrow point of the channel to cross.
One thing for sure if the missing 100 birds never crossed the channel yesterday, then they have trouble today as the winds have now picked up and crossing will be a different story.

hi Kevin I hope even one of ours get home to make a bit interest for the boys to see Im doing like misses keeping every thing crossed

Hi Birdy, Yes Mistral Marauders is our name. I only have the one bird in the race as I put our 4 birds up for auction at the end of the young bird Final to finance towards our yb entry this year, 3 sold but poor 009 got no bids, I dont know why as he is a smart bird like the other 3 that sold, so I activated him for the yearllng race. His sister was prolific as a yb last year for my friend and OLR partner in Blackpool, Ken Cardwell and she topped the federation a fortnight ago for him.

Thanks for your support guys and well done to Gingers bird too, we are still in with a chance in the final.

at the moment I dont no but as soon as I no I will put it up, My main one is comeing up on july 5th BARCELONA at the moment I have 3 going as you no I like distance
