| The Irish homing union have decided that all members meet in there club for 7am in the morning to have our birds on the transporter for 10am then they make there journey 80 miles and are going to liberate the birds at 1pm tomorrow so this means the birds will be flying home in full midday heat, I don't see the point in this! If they done it tonight they could liberate first thing in the morning which I think would make more sense. They reckon its too hot to have the birds in the transporter over night there putting 20 birds per basket in the morning. Best of luck to all racing tomorrow and let's hope they all make it home... |

| Heya Ray unfortunately I have lost two of yours one off the loft and the other in a 5 mile training toss, I lost 4 birds that day I think a hawk went into the birds they had been training there all week and flying great I was gutted Ray and was hoping they were reported but ive heard nothing, the one I was thinking of sending tomorrow is the blue tip he has been flying 30 mile training tosses all week and coming back in the first couple back, I'm thinking twice now that your saying its two young I would of taught it was ready but ray I'm still learning. It looks good to me he's ranging for an hour at a time I Thought once they were doing that there ready for training. And with this race only being a short one I was thinking its perfect to try him out before the races get longer. |
